The cinema quality products, including the CIS1910 1080p sensor and the CIS2521 5.5Mpix sensor, provide camera makers with state of the art image sensor image quality, particularly in the areas of low light sensitivity, high dynamic range and high frame rate.

Come see the latest Scientific CMOS (sCMOS) sensor technology at Booth Number 4416 during the Photonics West 2013 exhibition in San Francisco, California. We will be showing the newly available CIS 2521F sensor which offers 5.5 Megapixels of high dynamic range, high speed readout with less than 2 electrons noise. This sensor is ideal for applications where high resolution and high sensitivity are both needed.

BAE Systems Imaging Solutions introduces the latest member of the new scientific CMOS (sCMOS) family which has received an immense response from the imaging market. This new sensor has 6.5 micron square pixels in a 1920x1080 format and is based on the same 5T pixel structure previously released in the Fairchild Imaging CIS2051 sensor. It is available in both a monochrome and a color (Bayer pattern) version.

BAE Systems has completed the acquisition of the outstanding equity of privately owned Fairchild Imaging, Inc. The proposed acquisition was announced January 21, 2011. Fairchild Imaging designs and manufactures solid-state electronic imaging components, cameras, and systems. These components have potential uses across diverse aerospace, industrial, medical, and scientific imaging applications, including night vision systems, thermal imagers, aerial mapping, and missile seekers.
