| The
CCD417 is a split frame transfer device designed for star tracker,
missile tracking and space applications. The CCD417 has an image
area of 512 pixel rows x 512 pixel colums, and four two-stage readout
circuits-- one at each corner of the device. The device can be operated
in either 2 port or 4 port configurations. The physical CCD pixel
size is 15µm. The associated image storage area has two additional
pixel rows to facilitate storage area shield alignment. The horizontal
shift register allows up to 4 x 4 binning of the image area pixels.
Each horizontal register has 16 additional pixels for dark level
and offset calibration.
