The Owl CAM/CCD-2K.LS is an ultra-sensitive camera for use in line scan applications that demand high performance under low light conditions. The camera is based on Fairchild Imaging's 2k linear CMOS sensor. This device utilizes patented Active Reset™ technology that provides very low noise performance at high data rates. The Owl is ideally suited for demanding industrial inspection and machine vision applications.

This camera operates in the Multiple Read During Integration (MRDI) mode that provides the lowest noise performance by multiple sampling of the video signal which reduces temporal noise.

This machine vision camera is packaged in a rugged housing that supports standard lens mounts.
