The 16cm x 16cm camera utilizes breakthrough CCD technology. The camera houses four 8cm x 8cm 3-side buttable interline CCDs. With three modes of operation the camera provides 40-80-160µm resolution at up to 30 frames per second. The joints are less than one pixel (39µm) wide. A fiber optic faceplate and CsI scintillator ensure high-performance and high resolution. The camera body is made of carbon fiber for rugged operation.
