The Owl CAM/CCD-2K.LS is an ultra-sensitive camera for use in line scan applications that demand high performance under low light conditions. The camera is based on Fairchild Imaging's 2k linear CMOS sensor. This device utilizes patented Active Reset™ technology that provides very low noise performance at high data rates. The Owl is ideally suited for demanding industrial inspection and machine vision applications.

The camera operates in the Read During Integration (RDI) mode which provides high line rates as the sensor reads out the previous line of data while integrating the previous line simultaneously.

This camera is packaged in a rugged housing that supports standard lens mounts.
